Brontomerus

Brontomerus (meaning “Thunder Thighs”) is a genus of camarosauromorph which lived in the Early Cretaceous of what is now Utah. It is a fairly basal camarosauromorph. It was named in 2011. It had unusual hipbones, which supported large thigh muscles. Because of it’s large thigh, it’s name meant “Thunder Thigh”.
